Senior Auditor
Leading audit engagements from planning to report, supervising a small team, and dealing directly with client management.
What you will work on
- Planning the engagement and identifying the risk areas that deserve more time.
- Performing substantive procedures, testing balances and transactions, and documenting the evidence.
- Supervising junior auditors and reviewing their workpapers before they reach the partner.
- Drafting internal control findings and discussing them with client management.
- Contributing to the financial statements and their notes under the standards endorsed in the Kingdom.
What we ask for
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
- At least three years in external audit at a licensed firm.
- Working knowledge of the IFRS framework endorsed in the Kingdom and the auditing standards.
- Professional writing in Arabic and English — reports and management letters are read by banks and regulators.
What tips the balance
- SOCPA fellowship, or progress toward it.
- Experience in construction or real estate development.
- Prior exposure to zakat and tax files alongside audit.
