Outsourced Accounting
Most businesses do not need a full-time finance director, but they do need tidy books, filings on time, and statements they can put in front of a bank. The difference between us and accounting software is that software waits for your input and never tells you what you forgot, while here a responsible person knows your next deadline and what your ledger is missing before it becomes a penalty. And because the firm also audits and handles zakat and tax, what we keep today is built to hold up under a later examination.
- Regulator
- ZATCA · Ministry of Commerce
- Typical duration
- Service starts within a week of receiving your data and opening balances. Bringing overdue books current is scoped after we assess their state — the difference between two months behind and two years behind is large, so we look before we promise a date.
- We don't publish price lists
- A quote built on your case, with a written scope and a validity date
Hello. I can price your bookkeeping and monthly accounting cycle right now — five questions.

6 questions are enough for a number built on your case — not a range, and not a promise to call. And if your case needs a closer look, we say so plainly rather than guess.
Once you accept, your account opens on your mobile number and we continue from here: the statutory step, then documents, then the work begins.
Is this service for you?
- Startups and small businesses whose size does not justify a full-time accountant.
- Businesses whose books have fallen behind and need bringing current before an audit, a filing, or a financing request.
- Branches of foreign companies needing local bookkeeping that meets local requirements alongside their head office reporting.
- Businesses that want bookkeeping separated from executive management for better internal control.
- Businesses whose accounting depends on one person, and who want continuity that does not stop with their leave or resignation.
When you need it
- At the start of activity and on VAT registration.
- When e-invoicing and integration with the Authority's systems come into scope for you.
- When late filings or penalties start to accumulate — the earlier you move, the less accumulates.
- When financial statements are needed for financing, a tender, or a new partner.
- When the current accountant moves on or the internal process breaks down and you need continuity immediately.
The tracks inside this service
Five separate obligations on five different clocks. Read the one you came for.
The monthly accounting cycle
- Who it binds
- Every client on this service — it is the core of it.
- Statutory timing
- Each month closed within the first days of the following month.
- Posting and classifying transactions on a chart of accounts built around your activity, not a generic template.
- Reconciling bank accounts and matching receivables and payables.
- Closing the month and issuing the management report.
Periodic filings
- Who it binds
- VAT-registered businesses and those liable for withholding.
- Statutory timing
- Monthly or quarterly per your tax period, with payment due at the same time.
- Preparing the VAT return from the books and reconciling it to accounting revenue before filing.
- Withholding tax returns on payments to non-residents.
- Tracking the deadlines and reminding you before each one.
E-invoicing
- Who it binds
- Businesses that have come into scope for integration with the Authority's systems.
- Statutory timing
- Continuous — every invoice must be compliant the moment it is issued.
- Checking that your invoices meet the requirements in form and content.
- Resolving integration findings with the Authority's systems and coordinating with your technical solution provider.
- We do not sell a technical solution — we make sure the one you have actually satisfies the requirement.
Year-end close
- Who it binds
- Every client, and anyone preparing for an independent audit or a zakat return.
- Statutory timing
- After the fiscal year ends and before the independent auditor starts.
- Adjusting and closing entries, the end-of-service provision, and annual depreciation.
- Preparing the annual financial statements and a supporting file organised to make the auditor's work straightforward.
- Assembling the data the zakat or tax return needs.
Deliverables
- Tidy entries and ledgers on approved accounting software, with direct access for you at any time.
- Periodic bank reconciliations — the first thing that surfaces differences before they grow.
- VAT and withholding tax returns prepared and filed on time.
- A monthly report in an owner's language: revenue, expenses, receivables, cash, and what deserves your attention this month.
- Annual financial statements and a supporting file ready to hand to an independent auditor with no extra work.
- A reminder before each statutory deadline, not a notice after it has passed.
The checklist
This is the same checklist we send when you accept the quote — you can start assembling it now.
- Commercial registration and VAT registration certificate.
- Bank statements for the period, and read access where possible.
- Sales, purchase and expense invoices, and the e-invoicing file.
- Payroll records, employment contracts, and the GOSI file.
- Lease, financing and other recurring contracts.
- Opening balances and the latest trial balance, if you have prior books.
How the engagement runs
- 01
Onboarding and data migration
We take on your current books and opening balances and verify them before migrating — building a new ledger on wrong balances only postpones the problem by a year.
- 02
Building the chart of accounts
We design a chart of accounts that serves your activity and supports the reports you actually need, rather than a generic template that tells you nothing about your business.
- 03
The monthly cycle
Posting transactions, reconciling banks, reviewing receivables, closing the month, then the management report on a fixed date that does not slip.
- 04
Periodic filings
Preparing and filing returns on time, with a reminder ahead of each deadline that leaves room to act.
- 05
Year-end close and handover to the auditor
Preparing the annual statements and supporting file so the independent auditor can start without a first round of document requests.
Common questions
Why don't you publish fixed-price packages?
Because the real work is set by your transaction volume, the number of bank accounts, and the state of your current books — not your size on paper. Two businesses with the same revenue can differ by double in effort. A fixed package resolves that by charging you for the hardest case. We ask a few questions and the quote is built on your own answers — usually both more accurate and less than a generic package.
Do we keep access to the software and the data?
Yes. The data is yours with direct access at any time, and if you decide to move on we hand over the complete file without friction and without exit fees. Holding a client's data hostage is a practice we refuse.
Do you audit the statements you prepared?
No — auditor independence prevents it, and that protects you. We prepare the statements and supporting file to make another firm's audit straightforward, and we can suggest suitable firms.
Our books are two years behind — is it hopeless?
No, but it needs assessing first. The decisive variable is not the number of years but whether documents exist: if bank statements and invoices are there, reconstruction is possible however long it takes. If they are gone we say so plainly and set out what can and cannot be rebuilt, rather than selling you a promise we cannot keep.
Do you handle payroll?
We handle the accounting entries for payroll, the end-of-service provision, and the GOSI file within the monthly cycle. Running payroll itself — computation, disbursement, wage protection — we scope in the quote once you tell us what you need.
What if we grow and hire an in-house accountant?
That is a natural progression and we do not resist it. Many clients move gradually: the firm stays on supervision, closing and filings while day-to-day posting moves in-house. We help with an organised handover rather than an abrupt cut.
